Description
Beethoven Symphony 7 Cantelli UK HMV ASD 253
Guido Cantelli tragically died young, but left a legacy of his greatness in this, his only stereo recording. The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Guido Cantelli performs the Beethoven Symphony No. 7. An English stereo pressing on the HMV Label (ASD 254), the labels are cream with a gold border and stereophonic, plum lettering, Made on Great Britain, and a small shaded dog. The record has some prominent marks (Spindle damage?) that do not appear to sound, and light scuffs, but otherwise is of very good appearance and plays and sounds superb with consistent low level surface noise and occasional crackle. The cover has rubbed with a ring and some small creases.
All my records are visually checked under a strong light and play tested if any doubt as to condition. I take pride in making my descriptions as accurate as possible. View my other auctions more English and rare Classical Records.
