Description
"The Ninth Symphony Of Beethoven AND SYMPHONY NO. 8" RCA Living Stereo Catalog number LSC-6066Collectors worldwide are well aware of this 1959 release.
This is a double-LP "box", which each LP in a fold out cover. This is a rare LP, and in great condition for one that was released nearly 60 years ago. What makes it especially nice is that it includes the booklet that it was sold with. It is NOT in perfect condition. Most would grade it near VG+. There are a few markings on the record, and the cover shows some discoloration with age. But everything is in one piece. There are not huge tears on the cover, and the records aren't trashed, either, like some that I've seen at garage sales and the like.
This one not only will be prized by collectors, but by music lovers, too, as the records are certainly listenable, and this was a great version recorded by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, with one of the soloists being Leontyne Price.
