Gradings

I give below two gradings for Cover and Vinyl using the "Record Collector" grading standards. However, I will also give a short description of the items, as I can find that just "VG+" or "EX-" can sometimes mean little without seeing the item, and gradings are very much personal opinion. I try to mention any details which may materially affect the price, there will sometimes be other defects not mentioned if I consider them minor.

Further description

Please note this box set is complete but one record does have a small scratch on part of one side (see fuller description within text below). I have priced it accordingly to start, please be aware of this.

The box is solid but does have marks on it, and damage to the sides/edges. the two non-opening corners are not torn. A sticky label was attached at some point to the top right corner. The enclosed booklet has some foxing to front and back but overall is in nice condition.

There are eight records within this set, SABL 132-3, SABL 166-70 and the extra rehearsal recording (D99893L) only issued with this set. Several of the records have grubby marks, but these appear as though they should clean off. Side one of SABL 166 has a small scratch about 2cm in length, which I feel would impact upon sound quality.

Despite the comments above, the plum labels are VERY clean, with very little sign of any play at all.

In summary a sought-after set but with some small issues, and priced at a realistic reduced level to start.
