Description
Beggars Banquet
By the Rolling Stones
First UK mono pressing in fully laminated gatefold cover, with the earliest known matrices but not the earliest G&L cover, which is missing 'Patent Pending' after the G&L name. Unboxed Decca labels have ffrr 'ear logo and 'J/T' above the label matrix. The original red Decca inner is missing. A previous owner has helpfully handwritten the track names and timings on a separate sheet of paper found inside the cover and which is included.
The record have been cleaned on a Pro-ject VCS MKII and Project 'Wash-it' cleaner with then placed in a new and clean paper inner.

CONDITION
Both sides have a scattering of light to medium scratches and sleeve withdrawal marks. A visual grade of Good.
Both sides play with a mild background crackle that is more noticeable during quieter passages. There are also three easily missed quiet 'clicks' on side 2, track 1, and a further quiet 'click' on side 2, track 3. The record does not skip or stick. As usual with thick 60s vinyl with deep grooves it plays much better than how it looks, and it is certainly the case with this one. It really does play well in spite of surface marks and any surface noise. An overall play-grade of VG but only just and I could easily have gone with a G+ grade.
The cover has significant wear all round but is fully intact with no seam splits or defacing.
The labels are clean and unmarked apart from spindle trails.
