On offer here is the INCREDIBLY RARE ORIGINAL UK SWIRL VERTIGO RECORDS LP RELEASE OF BEGGARS OPERA 'WATERS OF CHANGE' ISSUED IN 1971.Everything about this record is excellent(sometimes possibly better) and this is a great chance to own one of the harder to find releases on this highly collectable label in such superb condition.This fine,underrated Scottish progressive rock band produced many great albums and,without doubt,this is one of the very best.The gatefold sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition,with only a very tiny scuff at the top and bottom of the spine and the very merest faint trace of ringwear at the top of the back sleeve.There is just an odd crease mark,but the sleeve really is in an excellent,solid state.The inside of the gatefold is in a bright and perfect state.The labels are also absolutely EXCELLENT,clean and bright.The vinyl looks stunning and,having just played it, I can only describe it as EXCELLENT again and feel there's not much difference from the very first time I played it.If I was to be super critical,the only thing I could say is there might be the lightest bit of background crackle on the very odd occasion.The record has only been lovingly played several times over the forty year period I have had it.The only one thing I must point out to the collector and any potential buyer is that when I purchased the album in the 1970s,mine did not come in the inner-swirl sleeve,but in a plain polylined inner sleeve.The inner sleeve does have some browning around the edges.Overall though,an absolutely gorgeous vinyl release.In summary:
