Description
Beggers Opera Pathfinder Original Vertigo Swirl Press 1972 Fold out Poster cover
- "Pathfinder" Original 1972 Canadian pressing Vertigo – 6360 073
- Nearly impossible to find release from prog outfit Beggars Opera on the coverted Vertigo Swirl label.
- The cover folds out into a large 6 panel sized poster.
- Condition: the vinyl is strong VG+ (has a little more than a handful of light scuff marks ranging from about a centimeter to an inch and a half long).
- Overall plays beautifully and sounds incredible. Like nearly all records there is a very light click here and there and and brief very light underlying static in the mearest few and far between places ~ between a 0 and 1 or a 1, on a scale of 1 to 10 for loudness, where 10 is really loud ~ equal to the volume of the music. (there is almost none of this but I mention it to err
on the side of caution). And the run in run out grooves and between tracks have a little bit of noise. In the fade out for the last track on side one there are four clicks -three are soft - one of them is about a four. In the second track on side two there is on click that is a 3 or 4. Thats it. I am using a good turntable with a new stylus but please note the stylus is not super high end audiophile sensitive. - The cover is VG+. Has some surface wear within four of the six fold lines. Tiny tear a couple of millimeters long at the edge of two of the fold lines. Faint crease about about 3 inches long at the bottom in the middle. Some ring wear on the back. Has holes a little bigger than pinholes at the meating points of two of the fold lines. Nothing very significant in any of these slight signs of age. Ive taken several pictures of the cover with close ups.
