Description
Here is your chance to bid on a very very rare collectable Slade LP. In 1969 Ambrose Slade as they were then known back then released a great pop/rock album titled Beginnings. This went on to be a very sort after album in the next few years. Originally on the Fontanna record label when released.
Following this album the group dropped the Ambrose part of thier name & became known as SLADE. They went on to dominate the early 1970's with hit after hit & loads of NO. 1's. The growing number of fans were trying to get hold of the Beginnings LP but it was increasingly difficult to obtain.
So in 1975 Slade re- released the album in a different guise, on the Contour record label. It cotained the same tracks but in a slightly different order. However due to some legal reasons this LP was withdrawn & no longer available to buy.
Ironicly this has made this Album rarer than the Album it was intended to replace, for all those adoring fans. It had a very short ltd pressing period.
This album on offer is the 1975 re-issue version on the Contour label. The cover is in very good, almost excellent condition. The album itself is not scratch free but is in good clean playable condition. Any marks do not reduce the playable function, no jumps or skips.
