Bellini Norma Callas Serafin UK Columbia SAX 2412-2413 Magic Notes

 

Maria Callas, Franco Corelli, Christa Ludwig and others with the Orchestra and Chorus of La Scala conducted by Tullio Serafin perform the Opera “Norma” by Vincenzo Bellini. A three record set, this is an English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2412-2414). The labels are blue/green with silver border and radio waves and a Magic notes logo. The records have a few very minor surface scuffs, and are of excellent appearance and play and sound superb, with minor occasional surface noise. The top left-hand corner of the box is torn and there is some writing in pen on the back - otherwise therr is minor wear only, and the libretto, original bags, tissue paper and cardboard are all in excellent condition.
