This is an original US pressing of the Ben Folds Five Album "Whatever And Ever Amen" on Caroline Records.
The sleeve is in VG condition. The corners are dinged, there are creases on the surface, there is a dent on the front cover (see pictures), and it just looks a bit worn with a slight impression of the record. There are no seam splits on the jacket. The custom inner sleeve (as pictured) has a few seam splits and is worn but it is still intact.
The record itself has multiple scuffs (presumably from the inner sleeve) and a few light scratches. I would visually grade it VG+, however, for some reason there is some distortion on the quiet piano tracks on side two (Cigarette, Missing The War, Evaporated), so I must grade it G+. I have no idea why those tracks are distorted, as there appears to be no groove wear or signs of needle damage. Both sides play with light, constant surface noise throughout and there are no skips. Louder tracks such as Kate and Song For The Dumped sound fantastic.
Overall, this is a decent copy of a hard to find classic album on vinyl. Other than those few distorted tracks, the record sounds good.
