Description
This is Verve Records MG V-2026, Ben Webster With Strings Sophisticated Lady, a black, deep groove label original mono issue of this great recording. The record is in VG+(+) condition, (a strong VG+) showing only a few light sleeve marks and playing quietly except for some light background audible at the beginning of side 2. The glossy cover has a 1/2" bump on the spine but is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent with little or no spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this wonderful record.
