/2-LPs presented are the same albums, but one is a autographed whose record is not in very good condition, the other is an original in great shape – so one may enjoy the music. Both are mono. Note: I had these up recently but without realizing it had used a previous listing from a few months ago in which the second album was a Discovery reissue. In the interim my consignor decided to sell his other non-autographed original copy as the second album.
Album One: Ben Webster: The Warm Moods: Reprise R2001 mono [original issue w/ riverboat logo © 1961 / USA]. (Condition: record is VG-; cover is on the lower side of VG+ w/ top seam and spine splits, a little tape tear on top front, no extraneous writing except for autographed dedication in back margin: "Best of Luck To Joanne – Sincerely, Ben Webster"*.) ||| Recorded in 1960, arranged and conducted by Johnny Richards w/ string quartets and Gene DiNovi or Donn Trenner (p), Don Bagley (b) & Frankie Capp (d). /\ 12 selections include Nacy / I’m Beginning To See The Light / It’s Easy To Remember / There’s No You / Time After Time / Stella By Starlight / Accent On Youth. ||| Liner notes by Nat Hentoff. || *Note on autograph: I didn’t personally get this autographed. It came from a collection that was purchased from a large jazz collection several years ago. I have no reason to believe it is not authentic, but I don’t claim to be an expert on such matters.

International Rates will be quoted after I get the package’s country of destination. In regard to USA mailing, I can usually pack a 2-LP set or two single albums into a package for the same Priority rate as one album. The first album is the $1.50 service charge (mailing plus $1.50). In the case of an extra album, the service charge is an additional fifty-cents (mailing plus $2.00). On the other hand for one album -- the slower "Media Mail" (or "book-rate") option will be a flat $4.50 S/H for most of the U.S. /\ Note: Mailing and service charge(s) are NOT negotiable. These charges are fair in my opinion, and also well within eBay rules. Thanks, Berigan
*** NOTICE ON MAILING: I feel that my eBay rating & feedback assures buyers that I am a responsible seller (& buyer). One who follows through on deals and that goes out of his way to be fair in the rare case of dispute. Yet to buyers new to my operation, here goes:1.) I only use USPS.
2.) I guarantee that packages will be correctly addressed and safely packed. (That’s why I ask buyers to respond via email with their mailing address. I cut it out and tape it to the address label.)
3.) I will take NO Responsibility for LOSS of UNINSURED packages. I’ll say it another way, no refunds on lost packages, if they are not insured.
4.) I know that this can be a hardship, especially for International Buyers due to the prohibitive expense of mailing & insuring Parcel Post, which is the only way insured packages can be sent outside of the USA. Insurance is not available for the cheaper Letter-Post delivery. Yet keep in mind that out of about 2000 items that we’ve mailed internationally, only a mere handful (perhaps 6 or 7) has not been delivered. So the odds are extremely good that International Packages will arrive safely. But the buyer (domestic or international) is the one who takes the chance.
5.) This goes for domestic items too: no refunds on undelivered, uninsured packages. As to insured domestic packages: it is the responsibility of the buyer to collect insurance on these items. I will provide all appropriate sales documentation; and if necessary, the proper postal forms to the buyer.
Not to put too fine of a point on it -- but if you don’t feel that you can live with the above caveats -- don’t bid on my items.
