Description
Bennie Green - Soul Stirrin' Early US MONO Blue Note BLP 1599 DG RVG Jazz LP
A superb album, one of my favourites, Rare Early US Mono press, on the Blue Note Label BLP 1599
Featuring Deep Groove, RVG in Run-out, 47 West 63rd Address to both Label and rear of Sleeve.
Great Line-Up Featuring: Sonny Clark, Ike Issaacs Jug and Billy Root and Elvin Jones.
Visually under very bright light the vinyl has a number of light play traces and paper scuff traces, and a heat type mark (which I have tried to show in the photos) which affects the 1st 1.5 tracks of side 1 and the intro to side 2, has been cleaned on my Okki Nokki machine and the record plays generally well. The heat mark causes some soft background crackle especially in quieter passages. Generally Bold bright and warm tone and an enjoyable audio experience. Occasional ticks, and some static type clicks to "Lullaby of the Doomed". Overall I will grade conservatively VG Audio
The labels are clean, they have a number of spindle marks VG
Comes with original Blue Note inner
The laminated front sleeve is a nice copy some sticker remains to reverse, EX-/EX
