Rare kubanische Original-Pressung vom 1958er Album des kubanischen "El Barbaro del Ritmo" Benny More nach seiner Rückkehr nach Kuba, welcher auch im Ausland Ansehen genoss, und viele Jahre in Mexiko LPs unter anderen mit dem Conjunto Matamoros aufgenommen hatte.
Die Platte ist auf dem weißen RCA Victor Label gepresst, noch ohne den NACIONALIZADA-Vermerk, der erst 1960, nachdem Fidel Castro die Plattenfirmen verstaatlicht hatte, hinzugefügt wurde.
RCA VICTOR LPD-541, mono, schweres Vinyl.
Die LP ist eine schwere, tiefe Mono-Pressung, sie hat leichte Oberflächenkratzer, spielt aber laut mit nur hin und wieder leichtem Hintergrundgeräsch. Die Hülle ist etwas abgegriffen und hat Beschriftung auf der Rückseite, Kanten sind von innen repariert (sieht man nicht), ansonsten noch recht ansehnlich. (s. Photos)
Rare original cuban pressing of the 1958 album by "El Barbaro del Ritmo" Benny More following his return to Cuba, after enjoying international success, and having recorded several LPs in Mexico, among others with Conjunto Matamoros.
This LP was pressed on the white RCA Victor label, however still without the NACIONALIZADA remark, which was added only after Fidel Castro nationalized the record companies in 1960.
RCA VICTOR LPD-541, mono, heavy vinyl.
The LP is a heavy deep-groove mono pressing, it has some superficial marks, but plays stong with only occasional light background noise. The cover has some wear and writing on the back, seams have been repaired from the inside (not visible), otherwise still nice. (see pics) Side 1:
