Berg Violin Concerto Christian Ferras Pretre UK ED1 HMV G/C Stereo ASD 572 LP
Virtuoso Violinist Christian Ferras, Rare and sought after UK 1st pressing on the HMV Gold and Cream Stereo Label ASD 572
Visually under very bright light the vinyl is decent example with a bright sheen, has a few faint wispy play traces, and a light scuff trace to side 2, Visually EX-. The record has been cleaned on my Okki Nokki machine and plays bold bright, clear and crisp with great rich tone (as is to be expected from a top-quality early HMV Stereo Recording), a lovely record. There is some fairly regular minor background surface noise (particularly to the opening), some occasional static ticks here and there. The record is likely to improve with further cleaning. Overall a very enjoyable audio experience, and a nice example of a lovely record, Overall Audio: EX-
The labels are clean, a few spindle traces EX
The sleeve has some dirtying, general wear, and a small name to the rear, see photos. VG+
