Description

Super-rare Berliner 20 Z - Mendelssohn "Wedding March" played by Sousa's Band. Recorded May 28, 1898. Signed in wax by Arthur Pryor. It's hard to grade these records, but it looks clean with shiny grooves and no obvious scratches. I've graded it VG- although it probably would rate higher if compared to its original condition. Plays beautifully with 4.2-mil stylus. Just a bit of blasting on the first loud chord and the usual surface noise endemic to these ancient pressings. Overall a very desirable copy. These are getting very hard to find in other-than-trashed shape!
