Description
The famed Reference Recordings pressing of Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique. Vinyl M- Cover is M- and looks just about new. One lp is sleeved in a Discwasher VRP, the other lp is in a generic sleeve.
I purchased this lp new and it was treated as only a maniacle audiophile/record collector can. I only spun it on high quality tables (Ariston, VPI) and it only felt the touch of either Audioquest, Grado or Sumiko cartridges. All cartridges were aligned using a Geodisc. Cleaning was done via the Audioquest carbon fiber brush.
This is a stunning recording, I recall playing this to CD bandwagon jumpers back in the day and they would leave scratching their heads wondering why their CDs never sounded as good.
NOTE: This is a used record. All records will pop and tick on occassion...the pops may be at different places each time you play the album. There will be surface noise. This is a fact of records...if you want silence go digital. You listen to an lp on a nice turntable to hear the life, ambience and realism that the best in vinyl has to offer, not to thrill at how quiet the space between songs is. The better your playback deck, the quieter and less intrusive the noise will be. DO NOT BID ON THIS IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND VINYL PLAYBACK!
