Description
Another super rare item : The cello (Bernard MICHELIN) and piano (Tasso JANOPOULO) Recital LP issued in France by ODEON under the reference XOC 165.
Yellow label (see photo displayed here)
Program features SCHUBERT (Sonata “Arpeggione”) / DEBUSSY (“Sonata”) and FRANCOEUR (“Sonata”).
RECORD is VG+ : VPI professionally cleaned. Visible but superficial marks. The playing is great most of the time but occasional light noise is heard (side 2).
The overall condition of the COVER is nice and beautiful but there 3 minor defaults, so I grade it VG+ as well : 1. A small tear on the right edge of the front (about 1 cm – not obvious, above the bottom right - see photo displayed) 2. A hand-written date (“september 62”) in small, with pale blue ink, on the back above the reference XOC and 3. A minor tear of the flipback close to the previously mentionned writing. None of these 3 defaults is really disturbing but anyway… they are here.
In summary, although this copy is not pristine it’s still enjoyable - both visually and sonically.
