Description
This record is "Never Gonna Let You Go" b/w "Man Without A People" by Bernard Smith on the label Spectrum Records (Catalog number 111). According to John Manship's book Million Dollars of Rare Soul there are less than 50 copies of this record in existence. There has not been a copy of this record on eBay in years, and a cleaner copy is not likely to surface anytime soon!
The label on each side is clean and perfect, except that each has pencil markings above the title and to the right (A side says "G9" and B side says G10). I have not tried to erase these. A side of the disc is in visible VG++ shape. I count four visible marks on it but they are not ones that you can feel with your finger. Playback is fantastic. B side is VG+. There are two marks which are bigger, although neither can be felt with your finger. Playback also fantastic. Matrix number on the disc is very small and difficult to read - says "HG-111A 12/14/69".
I have tried to post a sample of this record to Youtube, but I do not know if it will be removed for copyright infringement -
I also have listed another rare single, "The Golden Rules of Thine Heart" Parts 1 & 2 by Jimmy Dockett, which you may be interested in.
Domestic shipping for this record is $4 by USPS media mail, and I would encourage insurance. Overseas shipping will be by express mail international so the rate will vary by destination. This record will not be shipped overseas without insurance.
