Description

1966 LP on Transatlantic Records, TRA 143 A collection of English folk guitar maestro Jansch's arrangements of traditional songs (save for The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, by Ewan MacColl). Bert is joined on several tracks by his fellow future Pentangle colleague John Renbourn, who plays second guitar on Henry Martin, Pretty Polly, The Waggoner's Lad and Jack Orion. Blackwaterside was 'borrowed' by Jimmy Page for the first Led Zeppelin album.
