Description
This is Chess Records LP 1428, The Best Of Little Walter, an original, deep groove (side 1 only), mono issue of this great recording. The record is in VG++ condition with a few light sleeve marks and some pressing discoloration. The record plays quietly except for a light whoosh audible at the beginning of side one and a slight bit of background at the end of the side. The cover has water damage on both sides but miraculously, the spine and seams are intact. The labels are excellent as well with light or no spindle marks but a small tear on side two. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this hard to find original recording. This is part of my personal collection that I will be selling (slowly) over the next few months and years. I hope you will join me on this adventure.
