Description

This is the original Dutch mono pressing on the CHESS label (PAR 208 / 1427). The laminated flipback sleeve is in EX condition and the record is EX+. Manufactured by Artone / Funckler. These vintage Dutch pressings really kick ass!!!
IT HAS THE ORIGINAL ‘SHELDON’ RECORDING STUDIOS COVER (LATER REISSUES DELETE THIS BANNER FROM THE BACK COVER).

Simply the greatest - - no, “THE” greatest blues album ever made. The legend has it that Mick Jagger waved a copy of this album in front of Keith Richard (corrida-style) to entice him to join the band in 1961; and the list of people who have covered these great blues songs would probably exceed 5-6 single-spaced typewritten pages. This is the essence, the very foundation, the heart and soul (and the balls) of Rock'n'Roll and modern urban blues. When we think of THE Blues, this is it.

SONG LIST:
Side 1:..
I Just Want to Make Love to You
Long Distance Call
Louisiana Blues
Honey Bee
Rollin' Stone
I'm Ready

Side 2:..
Hoochie Coochie
She Moves Me
I Want You to Love Me
Standing Around Crying
Still a Fool
I Can't be Satisfied
