Up for auction is this Lp record by the great Betty Blake titled Betty Blake Sings in a Tender Mood.

What a great recording and performance - I understand why her record sells for so much money. (I think the last one sold for $1800.00 plus)

I am a little confused about this record. It appears to a be a reissue from Spain.

It reads: Reissue Produced by Fresh Sound Records Spain - P.O. Box 90005 Barcelona, Spain

But it still has the Bethlehem name, logos and record number (plus the FSR 2007)

I looked Fresh Sound Recods up and found that they seem to do primarily cds.

There did not seem to be anything available by Betty Blake.

I am not sure when this was made. I was unable to find another one like it anywhere..

It might not be an original USA pressing but you probably won't find a better cleaner sounding record.

The cover is NM-  /  It has the nice shiny cover that a lot of European pressings have but not so soft a cardboard.

                                 Cover looks nice but if you look at it with glare one can see some light surface lines but noi noticeable when you look straight on.

                                  Also the cover spine has a flat spot / edge where the info is. If it came that way or the previous owner did that so one can read the album info when on a shelf.

The Vinyl is NM  (I really do not like using M but I was tempted).  Not much else to say other than those European Pressing do sound so much better than North American.

 

 One can always save on the high cost of shipping by pitting the record uo in person.
