Description
Betty Davis' sophomore effort "They say I'm different" picks up where her marvelous debut album left off. Betty Davis sounds fresh and feisty, haunting and intimidating, raw and raunchy, all at the same time. Her band is in fighting shape and brings the funk. It actually brings the funk so pure, so undiluted, so raw, that once heard, you'll pick up its influence in other artists. There is no doubt in my mind that both, Flea and John Frusciante own this album and treasure it. Jay Kay from Jamiroquai and Prince as well, Betty Davis has reached so many people with her music and laid the groundwork for so much amazing music to come.
This edition comes with a poster and a multi-page booklet with liner notes and some really lovely pictures. The album has only been played a handful of times and is in near-mint condition.
