"These guys are great live. My version has a couple of bonus tracks that they have mixed in at songs 2 & 4. The performances on this album were taken from two shows, one in December of 1982, and the other in March of 1983. They usually have a few guests performing with them in studio, but for these live shows they just have a guest percussionist. So no mellotron this time, or horns. What we do get though is angular, Fripp-like lead guitar, along with some fantastic bass and drumming." - progarchives.com

All unsealed LP's are packed outside of the covers, in their protective inner sleeves, to avoid seam damage in transit. 

Record Grading

ALL RECORDS VISUALLY GRADED UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED

I visually grade all records based on the classic Goldmine Standard, to which I have added EX (as have many others), but I do not use any other variant from the classic scale.  No NM- or EX+ (which are both EX), EX- VG+++ or Near Excellent (which are all VG+), or any such other nebulous grades.  I feel that nearly every collector will be more than pleased with anything listed EX or above in my auctions.

NM 
This is highest grade that I will assign to opened, handled records. The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked.

Cover: Very minor signs of wear or cover impressions. Artwork is as close to perfection as possible.

EX
Disc plays near perfectly, but may have some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can be hairline scratches but nothing that is too obvious outside of a raking light or affects play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked.

Cover: Minor disc impression or slight corner creases, no wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear.

VG+
Vinyl could have some visible surface wear, including visible scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality, and may play with light surface noise. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.) but otherwise clean.

Cover:  clean but may have minor writing or marks and may show slight wear. There may be the start of ring wear, where the disc has created a raised area on the cover that resulted in the ink wearing off the paper. There may be slight discoloration or staining, minor seam wear, and/or minor splits or tears (nothing over 1 inch). Corners may have small creases or fraying, and spine may have wear. 

VG
Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that cause surface noise, but do not overpower the music. There will be no skips. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, larger writing, etc. but still easily legible. There may be wear or deformation of the spindle hole.

Cover: Covers are worn and used. Seams may be starting to split or may have been unobtrusively repaired with clear tape. (I use special archival-quality, non-yellowing, clear tape for all repairs.) There is moderate ringwear, but the artwork is still attractive. There may be yellowing or discoloration and there may be larger writing, labels, or marks. Corners may have damage or creases and there may be scratches or gouges that otherwise damage the artwork.

VG-
The record still plays through without skipping, so it can serve as filler until something better comes along. There could be significant surface noise or groove wear, and the label is worn, with significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage caused by someone trying to remove tape or stickers and failing miserably.

Cover: has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing, such as, for example, huge radio station letters written across the front to deter theft. Could have water damage or peeling of the cover. 

I tend not to list records in the following conditions, but will if they are rare or notable pressings, or if lesser condition only affects small parts of the record

G
Well-played, dull, grayish vinyl with deeper scratches and wear causing distracting surface noise (hisses, pops, cracks and other nasties). The record will still play through without any skips. Labels may be significantly defaced or damaged.

Cover: Several (but not all of the following flaws will apply: Seam splits, large marker writing, major seam splits, significant ring wear, damaged corners, tears, cuts, gouges, masking or duct tape seam repairs, or other flaws and damage. Again, probably only useful to fill a collection niche until something better can be found.

F / P
Unless the record is particularly rare, I would not try to sell a record in this condition. There will be major noise, surface damage, deep scratches, and skips. Attempting to listen to these discs will be painful. These discs are basically trash unless a collector desires one to fill a space in a collection until a better one comes along.

Cover: Useable only to keep the record off the floor.

Any items offered for sale have been purchased for my personal collection and are guaranteed to be in the condition listed. Many items were purchased used, though while in my posession they have been in a climate controlled, pet free/smoke free home. Items have been graded under a track of 3 150w halogen lights.

Refund Policy

All items are guaranteed to be a represented by grades in the item description posted. Should a buyer feel the product received does not meet the stated item description, a full refund including return postage will be provided. If I make an error, I will make every effort to make it right either by refunding all costs involved, or adjusting the selling price to everyone's satisfaction. Records must be returned in the same condition!

Buyer has 14 days to return item from date received. Buyer must first contact me to make arrangement for return shipment. Refunds will be made only after return shipment to, and re-inspection by the seller. I am not financially responsible for mishandling of parcels by the postal service.
