Description
It's hard but I need to sell a couple things dear to me.
I saw Big Country at The Ritz at what I think was one of their 1st two shows in the USA. Sept 1983. I had a very good friend who was a college DJ in the area who worked his angles and always got backstage at shows. He also worked at Mtv early on so his contacts were great. all 4 members signed this 12 inch PROMO copy of "Fields Of Fire". Stuart, Mark, Bruce and Tony and also signed the Mtv sticker. As some of you may know, Tony was playing in Pete Towshend's band before Big Country and good friends with his brother Simon (in his band too) It was thrilling to meet and hang with Big Country but was a HUGE BONUS to see Pete walking backstage too. (pictured below) I covered my face in the auction pics but I will include a scan of the actual pics to the highest bidder. As you can see, the record is signed and occasionally drawn on by the band. The record is in near mint condition and looks amazing for being 36 years old. That's my story and I am stickin to it. Good luck.

Condition: Vinyl is in great shape. I don't remember ever playing this copy.
Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise,still plays great.
