Welcome to another Auction from PLAN 9 and RECORD FINDERS!

Up for bid is a rare 7" EP, "The Wild Man of the Saxophone, vol. 3" by Big Jay McNeely. This was released by Federal (EP-332) in 1954. For more info about Big Jay McNeely, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Jay_McNeely. Songs contained on this EP are Let's Work / Hardtack / Beachcomber / Strip Tease Swing. EP is VG++, with a couple of tiny light scuffs on either side. EP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss.  There is light surface noise - crackle and tics (no skips). Etched matrix info reads FEP-265 / FEP-266. Interior labels are "silver topped" green Federal labels and are very clean. Cardboard picture sleeve is VG++, with no seam splits. This is a "top loader" sleeve. There are some small spots of light discoloration of the front of the sleeve (see pictures). Picture sleeve is very clean. Color on the front remains bright and the front retains a nice gloss. You will be hard pressed to find another one of these in this kind of shape! I have found history for a copy of this EP in similar shape to have sold on Ebay last year at $100! Don't miss your chance to pick up this extremely rare EP, in beautiful condition!
