Description
Cover has some light edge wear, and a hint of ring wear. Minor corner crease bottom right corner, along with a small water stain, lower right back cover. Overall, a solid VG+.
VPI-cleaned vinyl has just a couple of hairlines that you really have to look for. Also has some areas of inaudible "spotting" that you see from time to time with older records...not sure if it's mold release compound, or inner sleeve residue that somehow fuses to the vinyl over the course of several decades. Because of this, vinyl is a strong VG+, otherwise it would be an easy VG++. My grading scale is NM (pristine, used sparingly), VG++, VG+, VG, etc.
I listened to Holocaust in its entirety, and it plays nearly dead silent on my rig (AR "The Turntable"/Sumiko MMT tonearm/Denon DL-110). I also spot played a few other tracks, and detected no issues whatsoever. I did notice a slight bit of crackle between certain tracks with the volume up high, but that's about it.
