Rare Original first pressing of vinyl album.
Ardent # ADS-1501, USA 1974.

Cover condition: Mint Minus, except for cut out snip on upper right hand corner.
Record Condition: Mint Minus. See above images.

The PRESS KIT was sent by Alex Chilton in Memphis in March 1974 to rock journalist Gary Sperrazza in Buffalo NY.
It contains a photo of Big Star signed by Alex Chilton, and lyrics also signed by Alex Chilton.
Also in the kit is a Big Star 4-page Biography, and numerous colored page copies of reviews on Big Star records by
periodicals such as Billboard, Rolling Stone, 2 by Phonograph Record, 2 magazine review clippings and others.
The photo and press kit had gotten slightly wet, but they are in decent condition.

I acquired the album and press kit together in the early 1980s from an acquaintance who ran a record store in Manhattan, NY.
This is a very nice collector's item and will make a good addition to a fan of Alex Chilton and Big Star.
