Description

~ Cancon Vinyl Auctions ~

You are bidding on this 45 By The Big Town Boys "August 32nd" b/w "My Babe" on Capitol records 72398 from 1966.

One of Toronto's most popular bands in the 1960s.  Having enjoyed success with a mixture of pop/rock/mersey flavoured singles - they roughed things up considerably with the A side of this single - raw instrumentation and vocals.  B side is an Blue eyed' soul cover of the Righteous Brothers tune. "My Babe".  This considered by far the holy grail of the Big Town Boys 45s.  great upbeat Canadian garage. See my other auctions for more Big Town Boys Singles and their LP
