There are (5) 180 Gram One-Sided albums in this set. This was the first 45 RPM pressing of this title issued on 180 Gram Vinyl. This album was remastered by Bernie Grundman from the original master tapes for the ultimate sound quality experience and he has signed his signature on each LP in the deadwax. This long out of print desirable album set is a must have for any Bill Evans fan.  The vinyl are in Mint condition.  The only flaws that keep the cover and cardboard sleeves that house the individual LP's from being Near Mint is that all have a small corner bend on the upper right corner from shipping, small marks and very slight ring wear.  Some fraying on the bottom from shelf wear and the plastic lined inner sleeves have some splits.  There are no cutout marks on the album set.  I bought this set brand new when it first came out and I have only played this twice.  Sounds fantastic.  No need to pay $500 for a brand new set and never get to play it because it is sealed!  Get it here for cheap! This album set has become quite a rare collectible.

Sound Quality: Verve pressings from the 60's, 70's and 80's sound awesome!

This is a fantastic sounding mix and it sounds fantastic! You all know that the 60's, 70's and 80's vinyl pressings are the way to go and the recording, mastering, quality, and sound are FANTASTIC! You won't find this stuff anymore. Just take a listen for yourself like I did.

If you're a record collector and audiophile, the cover condition is not the important part.  It is the fact that the vinyl are in super clean VG+ (almost Near MINT) condition!  Warm analog sound! Note that I have conservatively graded everything.  In other words, if a record is graded VG+, it is more than likely closer to Near Mint.

Profile: Mike Hobson and Ying Tan formed Classic Records in January 1994, licensing approximately 30 titles from BMG's RCA Living Stereo classical LP catalog and later licensing material from from PolyGram's Verve jazz archive. 

The acclaimed reissue label, which specialized in audiophile LP reissues of classic albums, employed its own custom-built tube-based mastering equipment on all of its releases; mastered its releases from original master tapes (or the best sources available). Earliest releases were a box set of RCA Living Stereo classical titles and Verve jazz titles (subsequently sold individually). In later years they took on some new releases as well, both in their Prevue series and under the Classic imprint. 

Classic used 180 gram vinyl until 2001. These pressings have raised outer edge like most modern vinyl. That year they switched to 180 gram "SV" (Super Vinyl) and added a sticker specifying the type of vinyl to all their LPs. They introduced 200 gram "Quiex SV-P" in July 2002. That was followed by "SV-P II" and, in 2008, "Clarity Vinyl." In the 2000s, they also introduced lower-priced versions of many of their LPs, pressed from the same masters but on regular 150, 140, or 120 gram vinyl. Represses were always done on the latest vinyl formulation and can be dated by the sticker. SV-P, SV-P II, and Clarity pressings all have a flat outer edge. 

Classic also produced a line of gold CDs in the 1990s and then 24/96 HDAD digital disks. Mastering was typically done at Bernie Grundman Mastering by Grundman himself or Chris Bellman.
