Description
You are bidding on an unplayed set from MoFi: Bill Evans Portrait in Jazz 2xLP 180 gm vinyl MFSL one-step Ultradisc 45 RPM. (just rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it!?)
I’m rating this NM for the records and the cover. The cover looks pretty much perfect from the front, but you can see in the pictures that the back edges have a few flaws. All inside materials are still present. As for the records, well, I’ve never played them—in fact, I’ve not even taken them out of the sleeves because I reckon it’s more likely I’ll do damage and I’d rather not risk it. So if there’s a flaw in the vinyl, it came from the factory that way (I’d still take a return though :-)
So why am I selling an unplayed MoFi set but I took the shrink wrap off? Well, that’s simple: I’m an IDIOT! :-) I bought this because we played this album at our wedding and I wanted a super nice version in vinyl. I opened it, marveled at the beautiful packaging but never played the records. But THEN I found a nice pressing in 33 1/3 RPM and decided to keep that one instead... so you have an opportunity to pick up a copy cheaper than NEW (because I’m an idiot and opened it) but get to be the first to drop a needle on it! Win-Win!
Good luck and thank you so much for considering my auction!
