Description
Up for grabs is what I believe to be an original 1961 pressing of the highly sought after Bill Evans Trio Sunday at the Village Vanguard Riverside Pressing with Blue Label. This record came to me in a large collection of lightly played / never played record, bought from the original owner, making me the second owner and you the third of these gems. The original owner kept these LPs clean, both the vinyl and jackets.
The vinyl on this one is pristine - the surface shines as if it just came off the press. I have graded it visually as a VG+ / EX with very minor hairline scratches, most superficial, with three more noticeable scratches on Side 2 but none of these feel very deep to me and I do not think they will affect audio play for most listeners. Matrix numbers are as follows:

The jacket is in VG+ / EX condition, with no major flaws but does show the patina of old age. I have done my best to provide photos that will be illustrative to you as you make your decision to bid, but if you need others, please feel free to ask.

with regards to the small "scratches" on side 2. These are about 1cm or so in size, and probably caused by some dirt in the sleeve and not an abrasive object. To my eye, they are superficial and not deep whatsoever and are while they are noticeable to the eye, they cannot be felt with my finger. Even so, the presence of them is what is keeping me from grading this record higher. Trust me, you will be extremely happy with the condition the vinyl is in.
