Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Bill Evans Trio – Waltz for Debby – RARE Original Vinyl LP album from 1961.
Original pressing on “Riverside” records.

Vinyl Condition: G/VG (The record is in nice condition for its age. There are some light marks and light scratches etc in places. There is some slight circumference wear half way through the second track on side 1. It causes a few slight scratchy sounds but doesn’t last long. Nothing major. There is a minor scratch on the last track on side 1 which causes a few audible clicks but soon clears up. Again nothing horrendous. There is the odd click and pop in places but overall the record really is in good shape for its age and plays great with nice clear sound quality. The stylus bobs ever so slightly indicating a slight warp but this is very slight indeed and has no effect on the playback. It was probably like that from new. I probably being very picky and I am sure very few sellers would have gone into this detail but I believe in being thorough. It really has been a pleasure to listen this album. No sticks or jumps).
Inner Sleeve Condition: Fair (The original inner has writing on it and folds, creases etc. There are large tears/ rips towards the centre. I have put the record in a new polylined inner to protect it. Both sleeves will be included).
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG (Front laminated sleeve is very good for its age. There are some stains on the back – see photograph. There are some edge creases and the odd mark and scratch to the front. Overall very nice condition).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
