Over the next few days I will be listing some incredible and cherished jazz pieces from my personal collection. 

Fourth listing is a Mono DG original of Bill Evans' Waltz for Debby. 

I'm going to do my absolute best to grade this accurately and honestly. The labels are super clean as seen in the photos. Visually, I'd call the vinyl a bottom grade VG+. There are light scuffs and scratches and some storage wear. Nothing feel-able, but enough that it's not something I would personally feel comfortable calling a VG+. The play grade however leaves me no choice but to settle on VG that at times dabbles in areas a bit higher. There are quiet moments, but plenty of pops and crackle as well. The latter more consistently. Not entirely in a surface noise way, but lots of light pops. Keeping in mind I've never ran it through a VPI. I'm dying to hear what it would sound like afterwards. We all know this is a sparse and understated performance and that's not doing us any favors. I'm a collector first and foremost so grading is an area I take seriously. That said, it's not terribly unfortunate. It's an incredible player copy, if I can even put it in that low of a category. A VPI deep clean could do wonders.
