Description
This is the deep groove mono pressing of Bill Evans “Portrait in Jazz” on the blue and silver reel-logo labels of Riverside RLP 12-315. The playing surface is virtually in new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once; however, typical of later Riverside pressings, there are light intermittent tics throughout, though the sound quality is crisp and clear. The coated cover is also in excellent condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout; ¼” bump at the upper right corner; superficial 2 ½” crease at the lower right corner. Personnel include Scott LaFaro and Paul Motian. $100.00.
