Bill Simmons and his California Cowboys Victor 23603 'My California Home' / 'Rocky Mountain Blues'
10" 78 rpm record, original shellac recorded circa Oct 17, 1930. Very small "peanut" Victor label, in the heart of the Depression era.
Old time cowboy songs on this rare issue. Victor reported sales of 801 copies, an extremely low quantity, which makes this a very scarce record. Very good yodeling on 'Rocky Mountain Blues'. Fans of Jules Allen, Carl T. Sprague, and Jimmie Rodgers will enjoy this record. Takes you right out West. Recorded in Hollywood, CA.

ITEM DETAILS:  Scratches / light grain / wear typical of age. Sound is strong with some background noise common with 78s. Your playback may vary. The record plays well on my setup. See photos and ask any questions.
