Bill Staines FIRST album 1967
Before Bill Staines started performing and recording on his own, he was part of the duo "Bill and Renee". Bill and Renee performed in the Boston area and in 1967 they released an album with another Boston folksinger named John Synnott. Since then, Bill has become a folk legend and his first album, "A Bag of Rainbows" has become a rare collector's item.
This item up for auction is one of these albums. The vinyl has never been played but does have some minor spotting that looks to have happened during the manufacturing process. This record was stored in a plastic sleeve for 10 plus years out of the sun and away from heat. The cover has some minor age wear around the edges and a minor stain on the back. The photo glued on the front cover is in amazing condition with no visible wear or marks of any kind. I know this is an extremely rare album and I doubt there are many in this good of condition.
"A Bag of Rainbows" will complete any Bill Staines fan's collection.
