Billy Bauer - Norgran 1082 - Plectrist - A beautiful album, not played, original 1st yellow and black deep groove and a must for any serious Jazz Collector.

My name is Chris and I am running this site for my father.

Any questions feel free to ask away and I will get the answer from my father who is dealing with the owners of a record warehouse which he is selling the records for and they have had these records locked away since 1948 in this huge warehouse somewhere in Queens, New York and I believe he told me their is one in New Jersey somewhere and I can't make out his writing because he wrote this very quick as he is always busy buying postcards, stamps, magazines, photos, and all sorts of paper items.

Note - The Queens site is a 3 story building, it has 24 hour armed guard security, hurricane and fire proof. 6 months ago my father blind folded a collector from the Netherlands who is a big collector as not to know where the warehouse was.

The deal was he had to have a bank check in the amount of $50,000 which he did.

Upon entering he was in shock and the owners were watching him on close circuit television and he started to throw records on the floor as he was looking.

After seeing this the owners stopped him and told him they would give him one hour with an escort and he could walk thru the building and he had 3 milk crate type boxes and he could carry whatever could fit into the three boxes.He filled them and left.

During the 1970's thru the 1990's my father ran a mail order record business called Empire Records out of Brooklyn and he did a lot of advertising in Goldmine Magazine besides working for the City, he ran this business to put me, my brother and my sister thru school.
