Great ole rockabilly from 1959. A-Side is about LSU's All-American and Heisman Trophy winner Billy Cannon and B-Side is just a great ole rocker! We'll call the vinyl and the label VG(there is no original sleeve)....see pictures...there is a slight record warp but doesn't effect the sound.
Joe J. Chevalier, known as Jay Chevalier, was a singer and songwriter from the U.S. state of Louisiana who achieved success in several musical genres since the late 1950s. A pioneer of rockabilly music, he is best known within Louisiana for his songs based on politics, sports, and his love for his home state. He was born in 1936 and passed away in 2019. He was inducted into the International Rockabilly Hall of Fame, Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, Songwriter's Hall of Fame and Louisiana Political Hall of Fame Fame and Louisiana Political Hall of Fame.
