Description
A Collection of seven Billy Connolly LPs, Gatefolds and Double albums. Six are in excellent condition with some near mint condition mint as follows:-
1. Riotous Assembly, Polydor 2383 543 (1979)
Record in excellent bright unmarked vinyl, can only see 1 faint spindle mark.
Outer sleeve in excellent condition, some creasing and minor scuffing and a tiny sticker in top left corner. Spine is excellent as is the poster/leaflet. Inner sleeve is good but has been written on and has yellowed.
2. Solo Concert, TRA 279 (1974) Gatefold Double Album.
Both records are in excellent bright unmarked vinyl with only a light spindle mark on one label. One label looks to have air bubbles trapped under it in manufacture,
Gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition, some creasing and minor scuffing and a tiny sticker in the top left corner. Spine is very good. The inner sleeves are both very good but yellowed.
3. Raw Meat for the Balcony. Polydor 2834 463 (1977).
Record looks to be in mint condition with bright unmarked vinyl and no spindle marks.
Outer sleeve is in excellent condition with minor creasing and scuffing around the edges and a tiny sticker in the top left corner. Spine is excellent. The Photo inner sleeve is near mint condition, will put the record in a white sleeve to preserve the photo sleeve.
4. Cop Yer Whack For This, Polydor 2383 210 (1974). Gatefold.
Again record looks in excellent near mint condition with bright unmarked vinyl and no visible spindle marks.
Outer Gatefold is in excellent condition with minor creasing and scuffing around the edges and a tiny sticker this time in the top middle. The inner paper/poly sleeve is very good but yellowed.
5. Get Right Intae Him, Polydor 2383 369 (1975) Gatefold.
Again the record looks to be in excellent near mint condition with bright unmarked vinyl and no spindle marks.
The gatefold outer sleeve is in excellent condition with very little signs of wear, apart from that "bloody" tiny sticker again in the top left corner. The spine is excellent and unmarked. The inner paper/poly sleeve is very good but yellowed.
6. The Pick of Billy Connolly, POLTV15 (1981)
The record looks to be in very good condition, there seems to be some circular scuff marks on side 2 track 4, not sure if it's the groove pattern or not.
The outer sleeve is in very good condition with some creasing and scuffing around the edges, and would you believe "no sticker". The spine is good. The inner sleeve has a 3" split on a top corner.
7. Atlantic Bridge, Polydor Super 2383-419 (1976).
Just found this LP and added it to the collection. Again the record looks to be in virtually mint condition with bright unmarked vinyl and no spindle marks.
The outer sleeve is in excellent condition with very light signs of wear but has a tiny sticker in the top left corner. The spine is perfect.
The inner photo sleeve is excellent with only minimum signs of wear and no splits.
These records come from a family collection but I can't play to test them as I no longer have a turntable.
Thank you for looking.
