Description

Here’s a VERY clean copy of Victor 20772, recorded June 4, 1927 in Chicago, by Jelly-Roll Morton’s Red Hot Peppers: “Billy Goat Stomp” & “Hyena Stomp.”  Included in the band are the legendary Johnny Dodds and Baby Dodds.  Every recording by this group is packed with fun, and you will be proud to own this shiny copy in E++ condition.  Victor Talking Machine Co. pressing with original Orthophonic "Scroll" labels.

Please don't play this beauty on a wind-up phonograph, unless you are absolutely certain it can play electrically-recorded 78 rpm records without causing wear to the grooves.  No more copies are to be had from the Victor Company!
