Description
Greetings! Selling off my collection of 45+ years. I'm selling vinyl LP's from my personal collection. I'm primarily selling as artwork for hanging on your wall or sitting on a shelf. These old album covers are sure to bring back memories of the "good old days" when our favorite bands put out new music on these 12 x 12 records. I will be listing Rock n Roll albums as well as Country and Western mostly from the 1960's thru the 90s. All auctions will include the vinyl records as well as the cover. I will note condition of sleeves and inserts in the descriptions. All my albums are in playable condition and most are in very good to excellent condition. I'm not a grader of vinyl condition so I will inspect visually and note any blemishes or damage. Remember these are selling as cover art with the bonus of the playable vinyl record album! I am able to play the album to be sure it plays thru on request. Most albums will be starting at 9.95 so there will be bargains to be found with some being rare, hard-to-find examples as I do not own any books to check on rarity before listing. ALL vinyl is original with NO reproductions! I will be listing LP frames separately as a Buy It Now. Frames shown in the photos are not included.
This is a 1997 LP from Billy Joe Shaver titled "Unshaven". The cover is in excellent condition sealed in a heavy plastic bag/wrap. Unopened/sealed. The album is assumed to be mint as it is unopened. This was the first and only live album from Billy with his hard rocking son Eddy known as the band Shaver! This album was highly touted as one of the best live albums ever recorded in any genre. This LP is full of great songs! Eddy and the band rock Smith's Old Bar in Georgia and you can listen and feel like you are right there with the energy captured in this recording! Nice cover shot for framing!
NOTE: This album is 150 grain heavy vinyl and sounds so good! I imported a handful of this and the Unshaven LP from a source in Europe 20+ years ago. They are now quite rare and sought after by collectors. There will be a reserve on this LP to cover my investment. Reserve is much less than most comparable items on Ebay! Watch for other Shaver sealed LPs tonight!
