Description
This sale is for the first album by Billy Joel. This is Cold Spring Harbor and it was released on the Family Productions label #FPS 2700. This was a cut out from the bargain bin of some record store. As you can see it has the cut on the top right corner as well as through the matching inner sleeve.
This record is notable as being recorded at the wrong speed. His voice comes across much higher than normal and is obvious on the big hit "She's got a way". The speed of this song was corrected many years later, but at the time he was really upset by this and reportedly flung the record across the room during a listening party.
The cover is good with typical wear from storage. I'd rate the disc as VG+.
