The Billy Taylor Trio "At Town Hall" original LP, Prestige # 7093, mono W. 50th St. N.Y.C. pressing
This auction is for an original pressing of the Prestige jazz album "At Town Hall" by The Billy Taylor Trio. Sesssion features Billy Taylor on piano, Earl May on bass, and Percy Brice on drums. Record has the deep groove yellow and black prestige "fireworks" label with the W. 50th St. N.Y.C. address, "RVG" stamped in dead wax. Album is an original and was obtained along with many other 50s and early 60s jazz records from original owner. Vinyl is VG++ with only a few very minor superficial scuffs that cannot be heard and plenty of shine, nice clean labels. Glossy jacket is also VG++ with no splits or bends, nice solid corners, but has some minor wear on front and back. An extremely nice copy of this hard to find jazz LP. Will ship well packed in cardboard record mailer.
