NOTE : All LP’s have been cleaned and played through both sides (except where Mint) to determine an accurate grading as possible. If anything I have graded this album on the safe side as collectors will always have slightly different interpretations on quality. *********************************An excellent and reasonably scarce early 70’s 1st pressing (on the Festival subsidiary label Calendar) from Australia’s favourite son Billy Thorpe with his backing band The Aztecs.
Here Billy provides 4 early Linda-Lee label numbers (including the surf classic ‘Board Boogie’) before shedding his ‘boy-next-door’ image and delivering loud, brash prog-psych-rock numbers in tune with the wildman cover photos.
Nothing less than you’d expect from Billy … all class and simply great stuff !!

CONDITION :
Vinyl - played completely both sides before grading : Looks great and tracks through fine both sides with no skips / A couple of light marks and scuffs which I noticed translates to a little background noise during the one or two quieter tracks however overall this thick piece gives a terrific bright and clear sound / Beaut shine both sides and certainly worthy of a strong EX rating ... probably EX+ by some peoples gradings I imagine.
Labels : Clean.
Sleeve : cover in top condition. No writing. No marks. No splits. No ring-wear. Glorious shine on the laminated front. Clean non-laminated back (see photos above).
