Artists: Bing Crosby

Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby Jr. as born May 3, 1903 in Tacoma, Washington and passed away on October 14, 1977 in Madrid, Spain.  Bing was a beloved American singer, comedian and actor. As the first multimedia star, he was one of the most popular and influential musical artists of the 20th century. He was a leader in record sales, radio ratings, and motion picture grosses from 1930 to 1954.

Perhaps best known for his movie, White Christmas, Bing Crosby also toured abroad to entertain our troops.  He spent 25 weeks touring to entertain servicemen and his fund-raising activities resulted in the sales of millions of dollars of war bonds and he raised substantial amounts for the USO, Red Cross and other charities.

Cover: (VG+) Very Good Plus. Cover is in remarkable condition. The binder was taped to reinforced some minor wear at the top of the spine. There is slight wear along the bottom of the front binder.

Shellac Record: (VG+) Very Good Plus: These records sound incredible. There are scuffs and scratches that are difficult to see on camera but they play tested without skips or ticks. These shellac 78 records are extremely durable if cared for and handled properly which clearly the previous owner took great care with this collection.

Labels: Mint - Green Label
