Was very tempted to grade as Near Mint it is so good.Thick card heavy duty sleeve with 'paste on' back slick.No marks or unwanted writing.No seam splits or tears of any kind.All the seams and corners remain beautifully crisp and sharp throughout (see photos).There is no 'chipping' or 'flaking' of any of the edges or seams.All the colouring and text remains crisp and bold.There is no corner tip rubbing or softening (see photos).The opening edge remains crisp and sharp throughout with no 'feathering'.The back has no unwanted writing and all the text is beautifully sharp and crisp.There is only one light 'browning' mark just above the final 't' in 'quintet'(see photo).But that is it.Really superb throughout! 

INNER SLEEVE:EX.Original white poly-lined paper inner with 'U.K.Patent No.1,072,844 Foreign Patents Pending' in blue ink. 

LABELS:MINT/MINT. Absolutely beautiful.No marks or unwanted writing.No spindle marks.Beautiful textured orange with black text.Really crisp text with the Tony Pike Music Ltd. address of 31 Dryburgh Road,Putney,London,SW 15.Very crisp and sharp around spindle hole with no wear.Record labels suggest this copy has barely been played at all. 

RECORD:VISUAL(Under a bright halogen light).SIDE 1:NEAR MINT.Superb throughout with no marks.Full deep gloss shine.Appears virtually unplayed.

This is a truely great hard-bop album that in my opinion stands up to to most U.S output from Blue Note in the early/mid 60's.All the tracks are self penned by the band.

I use the U.K Record Collector Price Guide to grade.I do however use + or - suffixes if required.I try to be conservative with my gradings.Please see my feedback and bid with confidence.

I take great care with my records but please note that currently I do not own a professional record cleaning machine i.e Keith Monks/Moth/Vpi/Okki Nokki.Therefore although all the records are clean when I send them out if you do own a vacuum type cleaning machine like these then a clean on it could be beneficial.

As a record collector myself I know that it is vital that records are packed very well before sending.I always pack records very well using only professional type mailers with at least 2 stiffeners(more if required).I always take the record out of the sleeve and place it behind the main jacket.All records will be sent inside a protective PVC sleeve.
