Description
Birmingham Sam and His Magic Guitar was a pseudonym for John Lee Hooker, who cut "Landing Blues' in Detroit, Michigan, accompanying himself on guitar.
"Landing Blues" is a midtempo blues with exceptional ringing electric guitar from John Lee as he waits forlornly at the boat landing stage for his baby who has promised him she will be coming home, but doesn't turn up. I also like the flip side "Low Down Midnight Boogie". I like the way John talks about his midnight boogie party and all the things that happened to him at the party, very humorous!
I will ship out of the USA at additional shipping charge depending on your location.
Extremely Rare record purchased at a record store in Newark, New Jersey many moons ago.
