About This Pressing
This is the original 1988 US pressing of the Sugarcubes' debut album, manufactured by Elektra/Asylum Records at 75 Rockefeller Plaza, New York. Released in six sleeve color variants -- this is the green cover edition. Orange Elektra label on both sides. Pressing plant deadwax reads ST-E-60801 sflat with SRC stamp, Specialty Records Corporation, Olyphant, PA. This is a domestic Elektra press, not a reissue.
The original hype sticker is intact on the front cover and reads: featuring birthday / deus / coldsweat. Shrink wrap is original and present. Includes the custom orange inner sleeve with full song lyrics and band photo spread. This is the complete original package.
Note: The back cover shows what appears to be a hand-signed mark in the lower left corner. Not authenticated. Buyer to evaluate from photos.

Why This Copy
Original shrink with hype sticker still attached is rare at 37 years old. Most copies have been opened and handled many times over. The orange printed inner sleeve is present and intact. This is a complete, original package in a condition that is genuinely hard to find at this age. Bjork's subsequent solo career means this record draws well beyond the typical alt-rock collector base.
Shipping
Ships in a dedicated LP mailer with full cardboard reinforcement. Record removed from sleeve and wrapped separately to prevent seam splits in transit. Ships within 2 business days of cleared payment.
