Description

Black Merda was the first African American (All Black) Rock Band who wrote, performed and recorded their own music during the late 1960's and early 1970's.  They are revered as cutting edge pioneers of their own unique brand of diverse psychedelic rock.  This rare self titled album was recorded in Chicago during the winter of 1970.

Label:  Catalog Number:   Chess LPS 1551 Stereo

Personnel:  Veesee L. Veasey - Bass, Anthony Hawkins - 1st Guitar, Charles Hawkins - Guitar, Tyrone Hite - Drums.

Condition:  LP is in a Very Good  Plus Condition with very few minor scuffs.   

Condition:  LP cover is in a Very Good Plus Condition with light wear on the edges, a cut corner on the right base, and writing in small letters, "Note:  Hendrix Sounding Vocals."

Side 1 Songs:  Prophet, Think Of  Me, Cynthy-Ruth, Over and Over, Ashamed.

Side 2 Songs:   Reality, Windsong, Good Luck, That's The Way It Goes, I don't Want To Die.
